The editor of KCET’s ReWire blog, a KCET brand dedicated to state and regional environmental issues, wanted to refresh the blog design. At the time he wanted a new logo and layout to conform to KCET’s recently updated homepage. The logo and identity echoed the editor’s desire to reflect nature through the periodic table of elements. The overall page layout made room for articles and banner ads to coexist. A new dropdown menu provided navigation to categories within the ReWire blog.
Purpose: To refresh a brand page and identity, accommodate content and provide navigation for related content.
