The work came through TaprootPlus, a website that connects nonprofit organizations with skilled professional volunteers.

Telepictures, Crime Watch Daily

Purpose: to add context to stories broadcast on-air and streamed online.

Developing infographics for Crime Watch Daily required a review of primary sources, official documents, and statistics which were provided by the show’s web producers and social media editor. Infographics were shared on Crime Watch Daily’s website, Facebook news feed, Pinterest page, and Twitter feed. Crime Watch Daily is a nationally syndicated daily TV program.

Illustrated Infographics and Recipes

Purpose: to include facts about the main ingredient of these recipes.

Created for the website TheyDrawAndCook.com as means to share my interest in cooking and illustration.

LetteringGuy Blog

Purpose: to promote interviews from my LetteringGuy blog through Instagram with lettering artists and calligraphers from around the world.

The promo graphics include quotes and images from the artists’ interviews.

Stand Up Planet TV Documentary

Purpose: to augment information from the video content presented by comedians.

As a member of the digital team at KCET we developed the WordPress website and created content for the Stand Up Planet is a documentary TV show and digital campaign. We augmented video clips from the comedians’ stand up routines with animation. To complement the video clips we designed companion infographics which addressed serious societal issues of HIV/AIDS, nutrition, sexual health and sanitation. Below are samples from the website.
