In honor of my late dad’s birthday I created this illustration of the last meal I made for him. He dictated the instructions from the kitchen table while I sweated over a hot stove (just a little hyperbole for effect). Click on the illustration to see it. Thinking out loud
I attended bridal showers as a server for my parents’ catering biz. These bridal showers seemed like happy occasions. I tried to evoke that emotion by having gifts jump for joy. I thought the tone on tone tiles created an appropriate setting for these electric appliances.
I included an updated Get Well design. I simplified the background and increased the scale of the line work.
