My friend Salli, an amazing illustrator and designer, is keeping warm with socks on which I designed the pattern. She pushed me into an international competition. I won second prize. I prefer to look at it another way – we won!

At the urging of Salli of Studio SSS I entered a design competition with Sock It To Me sponsored by Pattern and Print. It was an international competition.
