Currently I work at Everfi which develops courses for corporate compliance and higher education. As a content editor I customize courses to meet the needs of our customers. I provide production support for the visual design team.
In 2012 I returned to school – community college – to study interactive design and multimedia presentation since working as a freelance lettering artist. My projects included website design, animation, and motion graphics.
When I completed my studies I worked as a user interaction designer in public television. Under the direction of myriad supervisors I designed print and digital assets. Later, I moved to syndicated television where I designed infographics and social media graphics in coordination with web producers and art directors. The graphics supplemented the content of a nationally syndicated television show.
Physical fitness has improved the quality of my life. It’s increased my muscle endurance and strength, improved my cardiovascular health and calmed my mind. To share my enthusiasm for physical fitness I conduct daily stretch sessions with coworkers, a practice which I started in 2013.
Recently I received a group exercise certification through AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) to conduct bootcamp and strength training classes. My goal is to share the positive effects of physical fitness through virtual reality for infirmed patients in coordination with medical professionals. Through virtual reality I want to simulate fitness exercises that may trigger a patient’s physiological response.
